The Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources held a training seminar on geophysical exploration and the V8 Multi-function Geophysical Data Acquisition System

On February 21, 2014, the "Geophysical Exploration and V8 Multi-function Geophysical Data Acquisition System Training Seminar" was held at the Education Center of Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, organized by Hengda Century (Beijing) Geophysics Technology Co., LTD. The conference generally met expectations and concluded successfully.

Representatives from nearly 20 organizations, including Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration Team, Geological Survey Institute, Northwest Jiangxi, Northeast Jiangxi, South Jiangxi, West Jiangxi, Jiangxi Central Team, 902 Team, 912 Team, 916 Team, 915 Team, Jiangdi Company, and Hydrological Team, attended the meeting. The total number of participants was over 100.

This meeting, in light of the actual situation of the geological teams in Jiangxi Province, invited experts provided targeted technical exchanges and guidance for each geological organization of the bureau, aiming to enhance the geophysical exploration technology level and V8 application of the geological exploration teams in Jiangxi. Relevant renowned experts were also invited to give conference reports. The expert team attending the meeting includes: Liu Shiyi from the Development Research Center of the China Geological Survey. School of Earth and Space Sciences, East China University of Technology - Deng Juzh. School of Earth and Space Sciences, Yangtze University - Xie Xingbing. Zhang Husheng, former chief engineer of the 902 Team of Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources; Ruan Shuai, the technical director of Hengda Century.

In the morning of the conference, Mr.Liu Shiyi shared with the participants the "Application Issues of Geophysical Exploration Methods in Mineral Exploration", elaborating on his views, experiences and the problems he discovered regarding the achievements of geophysical exploration in mineral exploration and the progress of geophysical exploration technology. President Deng Juzhi delivered a conference report on "Earth Electromagnetic Method for Deep Mineral Exploration", providing a comprehensive explanation of the common problems in frequency-domain electrical depth measurement, application examples of deep mineral exploration, and the issues that need to be emphasized in deep mineral exploration.

In the afternoon, Mr.Xie Xingbing gave a meeting report on "V8 System and Field Exploration Practice", elaborating in detail on the characteristics of the V8 system, the correct use of the V8 system, and the application analysis of AMT and SIP methods, etc. Based on the specific situation of geophysical exploration in Jiangxi Province, Zhang Husheng, the former chief engineer of Team 902, elaborated on some cases of the CSAMT method of V8 and shared some specific experiences with the representatives attending the conference, which received widespread praise. Liu Guoqing, the general manager of Hengda Century, delivered a technical report on "The Application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Aeromagnetization Technology", focusing on the current development history, technical features, and application examples of low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle aeromagnetization. Finally, PhD Ruan Shuai, the technical director of Hengda Century, gave a detailed report on "Fine Inversion Interpretation of Mineral Vein Electromagnetic Method" to all the representatives present. First, he focused on explaining how the CSAMT method, which is widely used in the geophysical exploration industry at present, can be reasonably applied in mineral exploration to avoid the problem of near-field effect. The second is the two-dimensional MT_AMT inversion of complex terrain.

This conference has received strong support and assistance from the leaders of the Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources.
